Too often, you can pick up a book from a “well-known” author, with high expectations for the content, only to be quickly disappointed; then there are times when you pick up a book from an author you may not have ever heard of…only to find you’ve discovered a treasure that far exceeds all of your expectations.
The most wonderful thing about “Essentials for Life,” is that it is incredibly well organized. Each topic is filled with Godly wisdom and was no doubt conveyed through Marcia Ford by the Holy Spirit. The topics covered are the most critical issues that need addressed in the Christian faith. Each “essential” is conveyed through incredible style, in a well thought out manner. You will find, through each section, God is taking your faith deeper. The Scriptures, side notes, and “What’s Essential” sections will challenge you to walk out your faith in greater ways.
I would HIGHLY recommend buying this book for yourself, and I would include it as a gift to anyone you care deeply about. This book would be absolutely perfect for a Bible Study group, as well. Don’t hesitate in buying this treasure…it will increase your faith which is more precious than gold!

Sounds like a keeper! Are the essentials that are covered doctrinal, or practical? I'd love to take a look at it! God bless!
Sounds like a great book! It seems that every book that God has been putting in my hands lately has take my faith and prayer life especially to a new and much deeper level.
I know that God does this when I am saturated in His Word first and foremost - then He can use those truths to speak through others who write as well!
I love how HE puts all of it together to teach us about Who He IS - then He STILL blows us out of the water with that!! He is AMAZING GOD!
