"You Changed My Life" by Max Lucado is truly a "gift" book. It is probably one of the most wonderful "gift" reads I've seen in a long while. The message within each story provides you with real life examples of lives changed through the gift of love, kindness, commitment, compassion, hope, courage, widsom, and friendship. The stories dramatically testify to the idea that one moment, one act of the gifts presented, can change a life forever. Not to mention the domino affect that takes place in the lives of others touched by those who have been given the gift.
The illustrations (photography) within are beautiful. The stories themselves are wisely and carefully chosen, in order to have the most dramatic impact in the readers' mind. The quotes that are used within the book are pertinent and powerful. Each page is a gentle embrace of the love of God at work within His people. I would highly recommend this gift book to you, anyone you love, the new graduate, and especially to be placed on the table at every Dr.'s office.
