Hungry For God

This book could not have come at a more critical time in my life. I'm disappointed that I have never heard of Margaret Feinberg until now. She has a passion for Christ and the ability the be a bridge that will connect you to the heart of God through her writing. "Hungry for God" is just one of those "must have" books.

For many, this book will help you to understand what it means to seek after God and actually hear from Him. If you've wanted to understand what it means to "walk with God" and converse with Him, this is the book for you. Feinberg will help walk you through the different facets of hearing from God and encourage you to start your own conversation with Him at a higher level than ever before. For me, this book's message confirmed what my heart had been doubting. Reading this book was a pivotal moment in my faith. I knew that I had been hearing from God, He had been laying out "clues" or setting out "puzzle" pieces, if you will, and yet, I doubted that it was REALLY Him. (Although the evidence was insurmountable that it was indeed Him speaking to me.) I have been journaling His words to me, and questioning His voice. As I read "Hungry for God," I realized that what I was experiencing was EXACTLY what  Feinberg experienced when hearing from God and my faith grew leaps and bounds. I needed to know that what was happening in my walk with God was authentic. Feinberg confirmed that I am, indeed, hearing from God and she has encouraged me to keep going . . . to pursue Him . . . to hunger for Him that much more! Now I'm on to ordering her next book, "The Sacred Echo!"
