The Grace of God

I thought I had a good grasp on the essence of God's grace, until I read "The Grace of God" by Andy Stanley. I found God's grace to be more astounding than I ever imagined. Stanley recognizes the fact that God's grace is talked about frequently, but makes no apology that it isn't addressed, the majority of the time, properly, truthfully, or completely. "The Grace of God" will take you from the very beginning of God's grace to its ongoing miraculous work in our lives.

I have read MANY books on God's grace (R.T. Kendall, Dr. David Jeremiah, etc.) and have NEVER more fully understood and absorbed the power and depths of God's grace as I did after reading "The Grace of God." The message takes you into Old Testament lives and enlightens you as to how the grace of God was shown so powerfully in the most unlikely of places. Stanley walked through incredibly familiar stories but went into unchartered territory to show you proof of God's grace. You'll be surprised at what you learn and transformed by the grace emitted through it all. Stanley writes in an easy to read style that has you turning pages and unable to put the book down. This is truly the most thorough and powerful book on God's Grace that I have ever read and probably ever will read.

*I received this book for free in exchange for my unbiased review through the Thomas Nelson BookSneeze Program.
