A Year’s Journey
On your journey through the year
As you pass through each season,
Winter, spring,
Summer and fall,
It’s abundantly clear
There is a special reason
In everything
God is over all.
As the months are going by,
Through each difficult place
You may feel fear,
Filled with fright,
Although you don’t know why,
God with great love and grace
Guides through the year
From darkness into light.
Each challenge of this journey
From New Year to year’s end,
God will be your guide
All along the way,
The days ahead you cannot see,
But have faith that God will send
His Spirit deep inside,
Helping you each day.
Connie is also the author of three other inspirational poetry books – Abundant Comfort and Grace, Abiding Hope and Love, and Beautiful Moments of Joy and Peace, as well as a children’s book, Animal Sound Mix-up. Thank you so much for being part of my tour for A Symphony of Seasons, Cherie! It is my hope that God will touch hearts with what they need to hear through the poems, and they will share the Lord's many blessings throughout the year.
The schedule for the rest of the tour is on my blog, http://conniearnold.blogspot.com and I hope your readers will visit some of the other posts for additional prize entries!

Wow! This poem spoke to me as powerfully as Cherie's books & blog postings. God again calming my fears with powerful words that inspire me to keep on following Him when I want to run the other way. Thank You!
