25,000 Mornings

It's difficult to find good devotionals these days, so I'm never really that optimistic when I agree to write a review on one. This book is certainly leaps and bounds about the recent "Women of Faith" devotionals that I reviewed this year. Fay Rowe has a wonderful ability to apply Scripture to every day life, share a little of her own life, and draw you into self examination of your faith. Each devotional is brief, but long enough to make a powerful point. There are over 100 devotionals with only topic headings, so you can skip around if you'd like without feeling like you're violating a "date." I really like this approach to devotionals. I wasn't wild about the title, and still not sure about it. Overall, I think most readers will enjoy Fay's devotional time and be strengthened in their faith with each reading.
