You Decide

There are simply no words for the tragedy in Aurora, CO. But maybe no words are necessary. It's been long said that a picture paints a thousand words. In this case, maybe it does ALOT more than that. On the night of the prayer vigil, this photo was taken. (maybe you've already seen it) Many see an angel hovering over the theater. Regardless, it is an incredibly unusual cloud formation over the theater. Looking at the surrounding cloud patterns, it is remarkable and quite unexplainable. But no matter what we might view it as, coincidence or otherwise, God is with us whether He gives us a "sign" or not. He is ever-present . . . a ready help in times of trouble. And although His ways aren't our ways, and we can't seem to make sense of them AT ALL, He has promised to redeem ALL of our pain an suffering (Revelation 21:4). One day, all pain and suffering will vanish and be remembered no more. But for now, let us remember, let us cherish the life we've been given, and let us rise up to reach the lost, for we have no idea when we'll take our last breath.

You can also download for FREE the song composed "on the spot"
by Moriah Peters and Rhett Walker called:
JUST PRAY

I think that sums it up:
JUST PRAY.

You summed this up nicely. Just so sad. Praying is the best thing we can do for others and our selves. Sometimes there are just no words. God loves us so much. Prayers going to all these families. Amazing photo!

Hi Cherie, Thank you for this post; I heard the song on KLove the morning after the shooting. I know the Lord is working many miracles through this tragedy. Thank you for sharing this.

We don't always see what's right in front of us when we are in our turmoil ... It begins to becomes clearer when we turn and look back carefully.
Blessings and hugs dear friend.

Wow! I had not seen that picture & it brought tears to my eyes. How terribly sad that we have to live in this fallen world, but how comforting to know we have a Savior who is there to help us live in it. Thank you for the book recommendation, just hoped over & downloaded it on my kindle. Looking forward to reading it :) Praying for you dear sister!!

Just downloaded the song; beautiful!

I love the words written on another blogger's post I read:
"God is always good.
Man is not.
Don’t get the two confused.
We will continue to praise and worship our mighty God, anticipating that He will bring beauty from ashes, as only He can do."

So true that one day, all pain and suffering will vanish and be remembered no more.

Beautiful post and picture dear friend!

Blessings and love,
Denise
