Everyone has questions that they'd like to ask God . . . and the reality is we won't have all the answers and be able to understand this life completely until we see Him face to face. But, there are basic questions that every Christian ponders, yet very few of them in their faith walk ever ask, seek, or find the answers. In "A Conversation with God," author Alton Gansky takes on the challenge of digging deep within the Scriptures to provide you answers to some of life's most ponderd questions in the Christian faith. Some of my favorites are:
God, who are we to you?
How do we know the Bible is accurate?
Why is there so much suffering?
How do we know if we are saved?
Can I lose my salvation?
What will happen to people who don't believe?
God do you love or hate homosexuals?
Why should we pray?
Those are just a handful of the fifty five questions answered within "A Conversation with God." Not only will you find deep profound answers . . . but you'll hear the answers spoken to you as if God himself were speaking directly to you. If that were not enough, you'll hear from Jesus as well as key Bible characters who will give you insight into each answer given. You'll be surprised and given a chance to re-examine your faith when you hear from Judas, the betrayer. Each Q&A truly prompts you to dig deeper within the Scriptures; they draw you in and you cannot help but feel closer to God and more confident in your faith after reading this book.
I would HIGHLY recommend this book to the new Christian, the mature one, and the person who just isn't interested in God at all. It's a book that will strengthen your faith and prepare you for objections to your faith that Christians typically get from those who don't believe.
God tells us, "Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have." (1 Peter 3:15 NIV) "A Conversation with God," will enable you to be obedient to that command.
