Are You Going the Right Direction?

An old southern preacher said,
" If you don't come face-to-face
with the devil sometimes,
then you must be going
the same direction he is."

I don't know about you,
but that being said,
I'm pretty sure I'm moving in the
RIGHT direction! LOL

Take heart dear ones,
rise up in faith when you come
face to face with the devil.
You might get knocked down,
but you can get up in Christ!
Resume the fight.
The devil cannot keep down one who truly
trusts in the Lord!

"Build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray
in the Holy Spirit. Keep yourselves in God's love
as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ . . ."
(Jude 20-21)

Why does going the right way have to be so much harder than going the wrong way?? Still, I'd much rather meet Satan face-to-face than take the easy way in the direction away from God...thanks for your post!

LOL...isn't that the truth! I usually say OUT Loud...Thank you Jesus that you have been given all power in heaven and on earth. Jesus is Lord!

Speak the truth and the enemy will flee! We have victory in Christ!

This is so true... Been in many tangles with the enemy lately. Especially on prayer meeting week. :)

I had to chuckle too! "I'm pretty sure I'm going in the right direction." Me too, sister! Goodness gracious! BUT! like you said, "The devil cannot keep down one who truly
trusts in the Lord!" ~~that's the shield of faith! Faith in God is our ultimate defense! And we are not JUST conquerors, but we are MORE THAN conquerors! Oooo, eee! Thank You, Father! :)
Thanks, Cherie, for confirming I'm on the right path. ;o) One day, we too shall see Jesus, face to face! And it will make all of "this" worth while!
