Heaven is for REAL

I wondered if this would be another book about a person's "trip" to heaven in which only a few pages referenced the account and the rest were pages filled with endless and seemingly meaningless details surrounding the experience . . . to my surpise, I experienced one of the most powerful accounts of a "heavenly" experience that has forever changed my life. I don't believe I will ever be able to live another day in the same way, nor pray in the same way I have before.

I agree with author Ron Hall's description of the book, "A beatifully written glimpse into heaven that will ENCOURAGE THOSE WHO DOUBT and THRILL THOSE WHO BELIEVE." I am a believer, or atleast I thought I was, until I read this book. I used to believe through the Bible and by faith, now I believe "as a matter of fact" because of one boy, Colton Burpo. I can't imagine anyone reading this book and not being powerfully touched by the Holy Spirit. The details about Jesus and heaven in this book are so amazing and completely "believable" that I am still in awe and wonder over it hour by hour.

The book was a VERY easy read . . . very well written. The first few chapters were a little slow. (I began to wonder) But, then it takes off and the journey begins. I read the book in a little less than 5 hours. Savoring the experience, yet bound to the pages because I simply could not put it down. One thing is for sure, this little boy went to heaven and it is our GREAT blessing from God to be able to read about it. I REALLY encourage you to pick up this book. It will capture your heart in many more ways than one.

*I was provided this book by Thomas Nelson through the BookSneeze program in exchange for my review.

Since my boy is in Heaven I would love to read this book.
Have you also read The Boy Who Came Back From Heaven? It is a wonderful book, too.
