"The Treasure of God's Word" is beautifully bound in decorative leather and presents itself quite well. However, for the price, the gift book just lacks substance in many ways. The topics that are used to break down the Scriptures are fantastic, but the Scriptures used are very few. I wasn't fond of the "brown" pages . . . it just didn't highlight the writing enough. (made it almost difficult to read without direct lighting) I did, however, like the pages that offered history of the King James Version of the Bible. I just don't think I would have purchased this book off the shelf.
*I received this book for free in exchange for my unbiased review through the Thomas Nelson BookSneeze program.
